WHEN: SATURDAY, MARCH 22 TIME: 11:00AM-1:30PM PST / 2:00PM-4:30PM EST WHERE: ZOOM 16 spots In this 2.5 hour bootcamp you will be working on scenes in simlar tone to Zac's previous projects focusing on the following: The 3 key things a director is looking for in a SELF-TAPE The #1 skill a director is looking for in a CHEMISTRY READ Everything the director is secretly looking for in a CALLBACK How to take BAD DIRECTION… and turn it into something playable How to work with BAD WRITING… and turn it into something truthful Finding your character’s WANTS vs. NEEDS without having the entire script Zac Villanueva is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, specializing in directing psychological thrillers and dramatic horror. He graduated from the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts, with a focus on directing. Most recently, he worked as the director's assistant on the upcoming feature film WEAPONS, collaborating closely with horror filmmaker Zach Cregger. He is currently in post-production on a dramatic thriller film, NIGHTFALL, starring Teri Hatcher and Emma Malouff. Zac continues to develop his own projects while juggling a slate of producing projects with Zach Cregger, including an upcoming reboot of the Resident Evil franchise.
