STARSI LAIRD - WHAT CASTING WANTS WHEN: THURSDAY OCTOBER 22 TIME: 7:00-9:30PM WHERE: IN-PERSON - The Lounge on Melrose Starsi is a high level casting associate working with David Rapaport and Lindsay Baldasare. Working predominantly in drama and thriller genres, you can see her name in credits for television shows such as YOU, XO KITTY, I WILL FIND YOU, COUNTDOWN , RANSON CANYON, THE FLASH and the upcoming series FOSTER DADE. She has many exciting projects on the horizon working at one of the busiest offices in town! For this class, Starsi will assign scenes from her past work, and give you direct attention - offering live direction in a focused, intimate setting. Leave the class with invaluable insight into the current television auditiong landscape. Spaces are very limited. WHAT TO EXPECT: Targeted Scene and partner assignments that align with Starsi's tone & genres of focus Discussion on Starsi's expectations and communication style during the casting and filming process. As well as how to make stand out in one of the most competitive audition processes in history. Hands-on exploration of the producers process. Tips, tricks and stories from her personal varied experiences. Partner work and live discoveries. that emulate what a live Casting Session or On-Set Film experience is like with Starsi.
