ROSS SHENKER- WHAT CASTING WANTS WHEN: SATURDAY, MAY 16TH TIME: 11:00am-1:30am PT WHERE: ZOOM Ross is an exciting Casting Associate along Kate Gellar and is starting to build his career as a Casting Director. He recently completed casting on exciting films such as OH, HI (Starring Logan Lerman and Molly Gordon), OMNI LOOP (HULU), OUT OF ORDER, THE FRONT ROOM and many other exciting indie classics. He has been apart of the festival circut for MANY years and always has films to travel the country with. He has recently come back from SXSW, was at TIFF in the fall is currently casting multiple indies en route! For this intensive, Ross will assign scenes, work with you directly, and offer live direction in a focused, intimate setting, along with invaluable insight into the current film landscape. Spaces are very limited. WHAT TO EXPECT: Targeted Scene and partner assignments that align with Ross's tone & genres of focus Discussion on Ross's expectations and communication style during the casting and filming process. As well as how to make stand out in one of the most competitive audition processes in history. Hands-on exploration of the producers process. Tips, tricks and stories from her personal varied experiences. Partner work and live discoveries. that emulate what a live Casting Session or On-Set Film experience is like with Ross.
