FALL ADVANCED INTENSIVE (3 WEEKS)

Service Description

WHEN: SEPTEMBER 21 - OCTOBER 5 TIME: 6:30PM-9:30PM WHERE: Week 1: Zoom (Assigned Scene & Partner to work live & intro yourself to the class (New scene) Week 2 : Sontag Theatre Santa Monica Blvd- Live work session rehearsal (New Scene) Week 3: Sontag Santa Monica Blvd- Live - Showcase for Industry Guests! (Same Scene as Week 2) Join a small group of actors for a special event class. This will be a THREE week course that is open to students who have excelled in previous courses AND/OR actors that consider themselves in the ADVANCED category. If you do not know if you are advanced, you can email Skyler your materials directly - send profiles to: skylerzurncasting@gmail.com. Please be mindful. Heading towards the showcase, you will get a hands on LIVE in-person rehearsal process work session with Skyler. Work with your advanced partner going into the showcase feeling strong and connected. WEEK ONE: Scene Assignments - be assigned scenes across various genre's to dive into and show your scene partners what you've got. Develop relationships, build confidence and see how your fellow colleagues work while being guided by Skyler! Dive into your growth and how Skyler has seen your progress in specific and thoughtful ways. Have a friendly competition and vote on your favorite performances of the evening to win an Giftcard! WEEK TWO: we will be IN-PERSON with our assigned scene and partner to do a live workshop and rehearsal process to really find the chemistry, characters and heart of the piece. This will be a hands on direction and work session with Skyler to best present your scenes to the guests! WEEK THREE: IN-PERSON special industry showcase at a theatre in West Hollywood. The showcase will have two panelists and will also be open to invite additional industry guests, friends, etc. However we would like to keep the focus on the guests. The panelists will fill out a feedback form for each scene performing. This will run like a SHOW. Actors will be backstage when not performing. End with an amazing Q&A. Guest One - Agent / Manager Guest Two - Agent / Manager + Actors are open to invite agent and managers for participation! MIXER Following the performance at a bar across the street to really get to know Skyler, your fellow classmates and the industry guests. You will NOT want to miss this opportunity.
